TV-10ers continue friendships after graduation. PJ Goens, Mallory Lovings and Tiffany Morrison all live and work in the Los Angeles area, and were visited recently by fellow alum Emily Long.Emmy Nominations
In 2017, 2018, and 2019, TV-10 students were nominated for Chicago Midwest Regional Emmys, and attended the ceremony in Chicago, with faculty accompanying them. It's a black-tie event where they rub elbows with some of the biggest names in Chicago television.
Return Visits

Staying Connected
TV-10 students often become life-long friends. Matt Zickus and Jeff Wagner worked together on the sports show The Lineup while in school. Now Matt is with the NFL Network in Los Angeles and Jeff is a reporter at WCCO-TV in Minneapolis.
Homecoming Parade
TV-10ers walk in the Homecoming Parade each year, with a mix of students and alums and families.
45th Anniversary
TV-10 students were a big part of the program's 45th Anniversary celebration in April 2019. They dressed up for the dinner and Hall of Fame induction at the Uptown Marriott.

Making Connections
CNN Anchor Don Lemon visited ISU in 2014 and stayed for more than an hour after his speech, in order to answer questions from journalism students.Coming Back

INBA Conventions
For decades, TV-10 students have been attending Fall and Spring Conventions
put on by the Illinois News Broadcasters Association. This was 2009 in Champaign.
Coming Back
Alums are welcome to come back and visit anytime, and to bring the next generation along.
Alum Jared Storck visited in the summer of 2017, with wife Ann and their two daughters.
Senior Pictures
Each spring the seniors get together for a fun photo session near the end of the year.
The 2016 group took advantage of the empty lot behind Fell at the time, when Rambo House had been torn down, but Redbird Plaza had not yet been built.

The Turkey Bowl
TV-10 puts a team together for the Turkey Bowl every November. This 2017 group won First Place!
Win or lose, this is an awesome fundraiser for the ISU Child Care Center, put on by student radio station WZND.
Alumni Connections
TV-10ers always try to help other TV-10ers. When Megan Barry was producing for the Steve Harvey show, she booked alum Christian Stoinev for a segment, along with his adorable dog Scooby. And she invited TV-10 News Director Laura Trendle Polus to sit in the audience of the show.
Return Visits
Alums come back to share their experiences with students. WGN-TV Sports Director Dan Roan was back in January 2018 and met with several current students, including Maddy Wierus.
