An ISU student won WGLT’s Highway 309 Studio Sessions, and has been awarded $1,000 and the chance to perform at WGLT’s Live Studio Session on Friday.
The Studio Sessions are WGLT’s take on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert sessions.
Submitted just one day before the deadline, utilizing a keyboard, acoustic guitar, and ukulele, Jane’s song ‘Fine’, won her the contest.
“Well it’s really mind-boggling to me kind of, because I think as a creative, being my own worst critic I don’t really I don’t really hear what other people hear when I hear my music so I was really surprised,” Jane said.
