The annual Black Heritage Ball was held this past Sunday, February 22nd, taking inspiration from a popular recent film.

The ball this year was inspired by the recent film “Sinners” which is a film rooted heavily in Black story telling and explores themes of power, morality and survival.

The Black Heritage Ball is structured to challenge perception and reclaim narrative. It encourages students to reclaim identity and expression. The goal of the event was to encourage unity and preservation of traditions.
