The hockey team Bloomington Bison is working to find their place in the Bloomington Community.
The Bloomington Bison have been an active team since professional hockey returned to Bloomington two years ago. The team has grown over the years with support from the community. The team participates in to help the community grow with them such as “Stick to Reading”, in which the team visits schools and gives away free tickets to their games.
With programs like this and increasing fan engagement, the Bison hope to remain as part of the Bloomington-Normal community for years to come.
