Fans show support for Illinois State University’s Women’s Basketball team during Women’s history month.
March is designated as Women’s History Month. And in 2026, the supportive fans of the ISU Redbirds followed the team on a two and a half hour trip to Coralville, Iowa to see their performance in the MVC Women’s basketball tournament.
Fans described their actions as similar to those of a loyal football fan in Nashville. Some of the fans who made the journey to Coralville made plans to stay in hotels and witness the full event to show their faithful support to the team.
