Tornadoes rated EF1 moved through Central Illinois Friday night. Bringing in strong winds and leaving damage behind. Storm damage can be seen across Bloomington Normal. Residents have began to clean up and assessing how much was lost.
What started as a powerful storm Friday night, quickly turned dangerous. Tornadoes tearing through Bloomington, Normal with winds strong enough to rip apart trees and send debris straight into homes. The National Weather Service confirmed six tornadoes across Mclean County, with some winds reaching up to 110 miles per hour.
