Illinois State Men’s basketball team hosted Belmont Bruins at the CEFCU Arena on March 1st to close out the regular season.
The ISU Redbirds started the game off holding their own against the Bruins. At halftime, they trailed behind only slightly by two and a half points. But in the second half, they came in to the lead and won with a final score of 84 to 71.
The Redbirds have gained a grasp on their fate with this win. Now being able to choose their own bracket.
