Chase Cavallera is also known as Local Tarzan, using his free time and donations to take care of non-law enforcement wildlife concerns in McClean county.
For a few days, Cavallera received calls about a sick fox in a local neighborhood, but every time he arrived on scene, it was already gone.
Neighbors were worried the fox wouldn’t last much longer when Cavallera finally caught up to it, catching it before it could escape, taking it to rehab where it was promptly given medications inside of a mouse.
Cavallera said if he hadn’t brought the fox in, he surely wouldn’t have survived much longer.
