Coach Gillespie started by talking about their exhibition victory from Sunday saying they had “A ton of positives”. Gillespie gave time to let the newest transfer Bella Finnegan talk about her new experiences as a Redbird.
Afterward, Coach Pedon and sixth year guard Boden Skunberg talked about their exhibition game against 20th ranked Fighting Illini. Pedon was happy with the performance and challenge that the Illini Team was able to give to the Redbirds. Pedon talked about his feelings for the year and working with his team by saying “I’m exited to work with them on a daily basis and really chase what we came here to chase.”
The next exhibition game is on Wednesday against Northwestern at 7 P.M.
