Illinois State University is asking the community to submit a witness slip regarding House Bill 1581. House Bill 1581 would put a system in place that determines how all general operating funds would be distributed by the board of higher education. This would effect those at Illinois State by keeping education affordable for current and future students. It would create and enforce real measurable goals to make sure the state is giving these institutions what they need.
