NORMAL, Ill. – With finals approaching, ISU Pride is offering students a creative way to unwind. Instead of traditional canvas painting, students used paint markers to design their own T-shirts during a painting night at the Multicultural Center.

Participants relaxed while decorating shirts, trying Indian cuisine, and spending time with friends.

“Another good part about this is it really gets the creativity flowing,” said Vincent Smock. “If they are feeling blocked with studying or finals in general, this can definitely get them up and running again.”

ISU Pride says finals can be stressful for all students, but the organization recognizes that it can be especially challenging for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
