Kearns Goodwin spoke at Illinois Wesleyan’s Shirk Center. The building was packed with hundreds of communications students, and community members eager to learn about Kearns Goodwin’s research.
“It shows that people are paying attention to different events happening in the community, and they want to come and show support both for local universities and also just to take in some of the great comments that our speakers have to say” says Julia Perez, Wesleyan University Assistant Director of Communications says.
After her presentations, Kearns Goodwin signed autographs and took pictures with her fans.
