It was a full house at the CEFCU Arena on Thursday as the Redbirds looked to split the season series with the Beacons.
The Redbirds outscored their opponents with a lead of 86-64. Chase Walker led the game with 11 points in six minutes. However, a hamstring injury had him benched for the rest of the match up.
Ty Pence and Brandon Lieb would step into his role for the remainder of the game. The seamless transition of the duo helped bring the team to victory.
The team excelled in the second half of the game despite being forced to play small ball. The Redbirds achieved a 13-3 run and followed 22-5 run.
