Three First Place Awards

TV-10’s SportsZone has won another top award: Outstanding Sports TV Program in the Student Illinois News Broadcasters Association competition.  The show featured the work of Ali Rasper, Liam Donahue, John Murray, Kayla Lindberg, Samantha Brinkman and Andrew Wolf (pictured left).
Two versions of Good Afternoon Blono won awards.  The Spring 2019 version won Outstanding Hard Television Program.  Produced/hosted by Giovanni Lebron, it featured political discussion and feature stories, including Bites of Blono.  The Spring 2020 version won second place in the Outstanding Soft Television program category. It was produced and hosted by Grace Barbic and Ali Rasper, and directed by Gage Morgan and Ebad Khan. The final first place award went to Ian Roberts for Outstanding Videography.
