Illinois State University counseling services hosted their monthly Turn Down Tuesday event yesterday.
The purpose of the event is simple: to create a comforting and relaxing space for students to unwind after a day of classes. Students could have fun with provided snacks, games, and karaoke.
The event has been held every month since spring 2025, and became a quick tradition to multiple students.
Counselor Venique Chappell said, “Turn down Tuesday is really specific for students to kind of like take a pause reset relax and unwind and come into our pace and see counseling in a new light so more of that holistic care of art music games just really hoping to kind of unwind.”
Pawficor Korg also made a special appearance.
