Illinois State volleyball is on their way to conference.
ISU volleyball has already played 18 games against a variety of differently skilled teams, resulting in a great amount of experience. Head Coach Allie Matters said she hopes that the experience they’ve gotten from these pre-season games will translate well during conference, but also hopes that these games have brought her athletes together.
Matters said, “I think we played a lot bit of everything, we played some really really high level teams we played other mid major teams like our self. I think that during pre-season we been able to sprinkle in a lil bit of everything which i think translates to conference. So i think we just have to have a little bit of short memory if you win a game on the next one and if you lose a game on to the next one so i am really excited about this weekend.”
The redbirds hope to finish the season strong and get far in the tournament.
