The Redbird hockey team is preparing for a deep playoff run as their 19-8-2 record slots them as the second seed heading into post season play. Head Coach Michael Hernbrott says the teams final series against Indiana was used to prepare his team and set his lineup before the playoffs.
Leading the way in net for the Redbirds is goaltender Matt Ogean, with an 8-4-1 record and a 2.97 goals against average. Ogean credits his improvement to practice and being on the ice as much as possible.
The preparation is done and this team has secured their spot now a few more games are all that stand between the Redbirds and a championship.
