There are many resources and places available for students voting in the midterm elections.
For many students in the area, it could be their first time voting, and a challenge could be that students do not know where to go and how to vote.
“We provide our Redbird voter guide through the Center for Civic Engagements website,” said Center of Civic Engagement Graduate Assistant Caitlin Bradford, “we have a lot of resources on our table to where they can go to that website, and we link to some external resources where they can put in their address to see who will be on their ballot.”
For students on the campus of Illinois State University, the Bone Student Center will be a place available to go and vote from 6 am to 7 pm.
Student Bradley Seelbach said, “It definitely helps with the how to vote part. I have not used personal experience to help figure out who to vote for, but at least with the how to vote part, it’s definitely been very helpful.”
