The Prairie Room in the Bone Student Center will be hosting early voting sessions on October 27th-November 2nd. The Center for Civic Engagement is urging students to get registered for voting as we enter voting season.

For some people, voting wasn’t always easily available to some people for different reasons.
Early voting gives a chance for people of different backgrounds to make their voices be heard. They are looking for everyone to participate and mak their votes count.
ISU student Lucie Lorena states that voting is extremely important to her. Considering women had the right to vote in 1920, voting makes huge impact where women back then did not have that type of impact.
As the Prairie Room becomes a home for the democracy, the Prairie room will have a new look as early voting starts in October.
