TV-10 Student Stephanie Rodriguez was selected as the 2017 winner of the Carole Simpson Scholarship, given by the Radio Television Digital News Foundation. Rodriguez beat out competition from all across the nation.
She has been a reporter, producer and anchor for TV-10, including covering a dramatic court case, and staying out all night to report on aftermath of the Chicago Cubs’ World Series win. She was also a News Editor at the Vidette, and president of the Spanish Club.
