Illinois State Gymnastics hosted the Midwest independent conference meet Friday night.
Four teams competed inside CEFCU Arena for the MIC championships looking to improve their chances for the NCAA tournament.
With Illinois State falling short by just 0.4 points Head Coach Cassandra Ringer reflects on her first season.
“Im so extremely proud of this group, I mean it never was an easy situation. I think when you come in and change things and adjust things and ask for the standard to be raised.. really and they did that”.
Even though the season ended not how Ringer expected, the future is bright for the program.
